Contact me today if you’re looking for a competitively priced, experienced, competent driver. My background is client services and that, along with my time as a luxury Sydney tour guide, has equipped me with superior corporate customer service skills that aren’t necessarily standard with your typical Sydney driver.

As a woman and as a business owner I prioritise professionally representing my clients and their interests.

I have driven professionally for six years now, covering thousands of kilometres along the length of the NSW east coast. My clients have engaged me to drive from Melbourne and the ACT right up to Airlie Beach (including going across to Hamilton Island, a personal favourite spot where I fully intend to wind down my driving career in a decade or two 🌴).

I drive everything from luxury cars and Mercedes sprinter vans right up to 4.5 tonne trucks - always with the sane consistent level of confidence and professionalism.

I already have in place my full unrestricted NSW licence (including manual vehicles), my Passenger Transport code T condition, a NSW police check, and my full Working With Children Check.

I’m happy to take any pre-contract medicals or screening tests that a job might require.

I have a colourful background in marketing, market research, the arts and journalism so I enjoy good conversation - as much as the art of discretion. I’m a creative at heart and while I’m on the road I’m thankful for the opportunity to rest the creative side of my brain while engaging the skills needed for tactical and defensive driving in Sydney.

I genuinely enjoy driving and it’s an activity I’ve loved, independently of earning money for it, since I passed my test nearly twenty years ago.

My preferred assignments are long distance over short, and as a contract driver in Sydney I typically seek out private clients, private transfers, line haul routes and corporate driving for Sydney CEOs and executive teams etc.

I’m the founder of @PrettyCitySydney so I love playing tourist in my own city and I know my way around every inch of Sydney CBD, Greater Sydney, the eastern suburbs, western Sydney, the Sutherland Shire, the NSW South Coast, the Blue Mountains, the Hunter Valley, the Central Coast and northern NSW - all of which are my regular stomping grounds.

🚐 The incomparable adventure of driving some very charismatic Mexican millionaires around Sydney, the Hunter Valley and the Blue Mountains

🚐 Resourcefully hailing a last minute helicopter for my VIP clients in the Blue Mountains at the height of peak season when everyone said it couldn’t be done (many thanks to the team at Sydney Helitours)

🚐 And hustling my way into the role of transporting the stars of a movie I was shooting - c/o What Charlie BOOKED… But that’s a whole other story.

Hire A Sydney Chauffeur

As a private driver and Sydney chauffeur I typically transport my clients around Sydney CBD, greater Sydney and regional NSW.

Regular driving contracts include:

🚐 CEO airport transfers in and out of Sydney Airport’s domestic and international terminals

🚐 TV and movie set chauffeur work for talent and lead actors and actresses on Sydney and NSW productions.

🚐 Visits to the Hunter Valley and the Blue Mountains for my clients, and then for their clients, often incorporating my VIP Sydney tour guiding experience and designing curated luxury itineraries for these guests

Hire A Transporter from Sydney

Transporting is a developing area of the What Charlie DROVE Sydney driving services that began with transporting hard copies of legal documents between Sydney and Canberra.

These regular local driving jobs have since expanded to include urgent transportation of hard copies of paperwork between VIC, NSW and QLD for lawyers, legal counsel and Australian government contractors.

This is typically a late afternoon to overnight service, providing delivery and/or return within 12-24 hours. I also provide an on-call service for retainer clients regularly requiring a Sydney transporter at short notice due to the nature of their business in construction and infrastructure in NSW.
